HOST in Lexington, Kentucky at Bella Notte Restaurant Group

Starting Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 + tips an hour - based on experience & availability

Job Requirements:

• Valid Fayette County Food Handler's Card is required before start date
• Restaurant experience (Preferred but not needed)
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Having a good sense of urgency is required
• Excels in a fast-paced environment and handles stressful situations well
• Positive attitude
• Loves serving guests, helping others, and values teamwork

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide each arriving guest with a warm, friendly greeting
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
• Runs the floor plan board on Open Table.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes and sanitizes menus at host area.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience. Thank each departing guest and invite them to come back.
• Fills to-go orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
• Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
