Job Description
Position Summary: The Customer Service Liaison proactively ensures a warm friendly welcome and initial impression for visitors, patients and families as they enter the hospital lobbies. Greets and provides directions to their respective destinations. The liaison answers informational questions regarding locations of departments, physician offices, contact people, hours of operation, visiting hours, etc. Provides appropriate screening of visitors, complies with visitor restrictions/exceptions and privacy requests. assists in problem solving as indicated and helps to ensure an excellent hospital experience in keeping with the Rush Promise behaviors.
Qualifications: Education: High School Graduate or GEDSpecial Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact in a manner that is positive, confident, and empathetic. Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve. Able to be self-directed and knowledgeable when to seek assistance. Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
Bilingual / fluent in Spanish preferred. Basic computer skills required.
Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service position preferred.
