POSITION SUMMARY
uAspire is seeking a dynamic, full-time Manager of Institutional Giving to help fuel our mission and expand our funding footprint. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Institutional Giving, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by researching high-potential prospects and crafting compelling grant proposals and impact reports for foundation, corporate, family, and government funders. In this collaborative role, you will contribute to broader development initiatives, successfully blending persuasive storytelling with meticulous data stewardship to help achieve our annual fundraising goals. The successful candidate will be passionate about writing compelling, outcomes-driven narratives, being a member of a collaborative development team, and contributing to the organization’s mission. Primary Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of Institutional Donors and Prospect Pipeline (40%)
- Support the SVP, Institutional Giving with grant writing and drafting fundraising documents including but not limited to: letters of inquiry, proposals, reports, budgets, and site visits
- Serve as the institutional giving “point person” for uAspire leadership; prioritize key actions for them to take in completing grants and reports and support execution
- Conduct prospect research to help identify pipeline of institutional donors; maintain prospect lists; track and report progress of the prospect pipeline
Systems and Operations (40%)
- Manage a calendar of all institutional deadlines, deliverables, and action items and work with internal staff and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
- Oversee and continually improve all aspects of grant process, including streamlining grant proposals, reports, acknowledgment letters and revenue reporting
- Keep accurate Salesforce records and updated activity notes with all funders
Data Management and Analytics (20%)
- Analyze historical and market data to support setting ambitious yet feasible revenue and retention goals
- Regularly track progress to goal and conduct analysis to identify what is driving and impeding progress

Education, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least five years of professional experience, preferably in development or fundraising working with individual donors, live events, online campaigns, and/or annual funds
- High degree of familiarity and comfort creating reports and working with spreadsheets and analyzing donor giving trends
- Experience working with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system; familiarity with online giving platforms including GiveSmart or GoFundMePro
- Comfort working with high net worth and high profile donors and prospects
- Experience with AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication and event planning skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage several projects at once and work well under deadlines
- A passion for and commitment to educational equity
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
ANTICIPATED START DATE: August 17th, 2026
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $65,500 to 75,400
GRADE: III
STATUS: Exempt, Full Time
CLASSIFICATION: Remote (Must be able to work a schedule aligned with Eastern Time business hours) with periodic overnight travel expected for events, meetings, and organizational needs.
