Maintenance Technician – 1st shift in Flat Rock, North Carolina at Friday Services

Location: Flat Rock, NC
Pay: $17.00$25.00/hr. DOE
Shift: 1st Shift | MondayThursday, 7:00 AM3:00 PM
4-Day Workweek!

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and keep equipment running? We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional to join a manufacturing team in Flat Rock, NC!

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys variety and solving problems.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and machinery

• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs

• Work with systems including plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and general machine repair

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 480V 3-phase power to 24V controls

• Perform preventative maintenance and document completed work

• Install, move, align, level, and set up equipment and machinery

• Perform basic welding and fabrication

• Operate lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders for repair/fabrication work

• Maintain facility and grounds equipment

• Order and pick up parts and maintain accurate maintenance records

• Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and company procedures

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics

• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred

• Basic welding experience

• Ability to safely lift, move, and work around industrial equipment

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
