Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (In-Person)
Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time
InSight Manufacturing Services is looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Electromechanical Assembler to join our growing production team. If you enjoy building high-quality products, working with your hands, reading technical drawings, and helping others succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
This position is ideal for someone with electromechanical assembly experience who is ready to take on a leadership role by providing guidance and training to fellow assemblers while continuing to build quality products.
What You'll Do- Assemble electromechanical products, subassemblies, and wire harnesses using work instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
- Build and install wire harnesses, connectors, protective sleeving, and electrical components.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, drill presses, and other production equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and assembly instructions.
- Perform drilling, tapping, polishing, fitting, and finishing operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through counts and inventory transactions.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Provide guidance, answer questions, and assist in training less experienced assemblers.
- Work independently while following company procedures and safety standards.
- Previous experience in electromechanical or manufacturing assembly.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Experience building wire harnesses and electrical assemblies is preferred.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to make sound decisions within established procedures.
- Willingness to mentor and support fellow team members.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
- Use fine motor skills to assemble small precision components.
- Work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment.
