Job Description
At Myles Truck Repair of Fayetteville, with our trusted partner True North Fleet Services, we are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to serve as the primary connection between our customers, technicians, and shop leadership.
This role is responsible for keeping service work moving efficiently from initial customer contact through repair completion and final delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, organization, customer service, and a sense of ownership in a fast-paced commercial fleet environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet customers, understand service needs, and create accurate repair orders.
• Coordinate repair estimates, customer approvals, technician communication, and status updates.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process.
• Monitor work-in-process and help identify and resolve issues that could delay completion.
• Recommend appropriate repairs and services based on customer and vehicle needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation within service and repair systems.
• Partner with technicians and shop leadership to support scheduling, workflow, and operational efficiency.
• Support service KPIs, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Take ownership of customer concerns and help drive issues toward resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of experience in commercial truck, fleet, transportation, automotive, tire, or related service environments preferred.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Dispatcher, Account Manager, or Operations Coordinator is highly valued.
• Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service operation.
• Strong organization, follow-up, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working closely with technicians and understanding repair terminology and service recommendations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and service or repair management software.
• Valid driver’s license.
