Summary The Field Service Technician II is an experienced field technician responsible for performing industrial field services including mechanical bolting, heat treating, and field machining at customer locations. This position requires demonstrated hands-on experience in heat treating and field machining and the ability to independently perform routine field assignments with limited supervision. The Field Service Technician II sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains field service equipment while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable specifications. This position supports maintenance, turnaround, repair, and project activities within refining, chemical, petrochemical, midstream, power generation, and other industrial facilities. |

Physical Demands Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and move throughout active industrial facilities, customer job sites, and shop environments.

Work Environment This position primarily operates at industrial customer facilities, including refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, power generation facilities, and other heavy industrial environments. Work may also be performed in company shop and warehouse environments. The employee may be exposed to extreme temperatures, variable weather conditions, high noise levels, heavy machinery, moving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, dust, fumes, and other conditions commonly associated with industrial facilities. Work schedules may include extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and turnaround schedules. Extensive travel and short-notice assignments may be required. Appropriate PPE and strict compliance with company, OSHA, customer, and site-specific safety requirements are required at all times. |
