Job Description
Warehouse Assistant
Location: Pembroke, MA
Employment: Seasonal (May-August) and or (October-Janurary)
Report To: Warehouse + Inventory Manager
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, packing, and shipping goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries
- Check goods against delivery notes and report damages or discrepancies
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in an organized and accurate manner
- Label, store, and organize inventory correctly
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized
- Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Prepare shipments for carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
- Assist with returns and exchanges processing
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting (typically up to 40–50 lbs) and standing for long periods
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Active drivers license and willingness to drive company vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Forklift license or willingness to obtain one (advantage)
- Experience with Shopify, inventory systems, or shipping software (preferred)
- May involve shift work, including weekends or evenings
- Warehouse environment with physical activity
