Job Description
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, operating, and maintaining production equipment and processes to meet customer specifications and quality standards. This role requires versatility and attention to detail, performing tasks such as product assembly, machine operation, material inspection, and process troubleshooting. The Assembly Technician collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure production efficiency and high-quality output.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssembly & Production Operations- Assemble switches, panels, and other components using designated tools and procedures.
- Operate and set up laminators, digital presses, die cutters, and paper cutters as needed.
- Apply adhesives and perform laminating tasks for material preparation.
- Follow blueprints, job specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect raw materials, overlays, and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance on production equipment.
- Maintain accurate production records and inventory tags as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace and machinery.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but is expected to demonstrate leadership in adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and production best practices.

Technical & Professional Skills- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three months of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with quality control standards.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions related to assembly and production processes.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Proficiency in using ruler measurements for precision-based production tasks.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed but straightforward written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of identifying and resolving minor production issues within standard operational guidelines.

This is a Full-Time position with working hours Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
This position requires excellent attention to detail, great attendance and the ability to work extended periods of time utilizing fine motor skills.
