Production Assistant in Fort Erie, Ontario at Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp

Position Summary

The Production Assistant will provide on-going support throughout the production process. They will assist in all manner of manufacturing, extraction, fulfillment, and packaging functions.

• Assist with extraction duties related to processing of raw material such as packing the extractors, running the extraction machines, daily cleaning, and maintenance
• Assist in operating production equipment for cannabis extraction and processing including filtering, diluting, formulating, and filling
• Assist with packaging duties such as labelling, capping, applying stickers and shipping of product as needed
• Assist with duties relating to Cannabis 365 Enterprise Resource Planning software such as data collection and labelling batch records
• Promote & maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area and facility by routinely cleaning and sterilizing equipment, including glassware and tools, components, and infrastructure
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and protocols. Follow SDS and MSDS.
• Maintain batch production records in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable regulations
• Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude
• Promote and encourage teamwork and open communication
• Communicate production updates and issues to Management on a timely basis
• Communicate complex issues to Management for immediate resolution
• Show respect and care for tools, technical equipment, and production facility
• Work cohesively in a group or independently as required
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
