Head of Product Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Product Marketing based in the United States.

This senior leadership role will define and lead an integrated product marketing strategy across a complex portfolio and diverse customer audiences.
You will connect product strategy, commercial growth, customer needs, and member value through compelling positioning and differentiated narratives.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across go-to-market planning, launches, sales enablement, and adoption initiatives.
You will work closely with Product, Sales, Brand, Demand Generation, Clinical, Operations, Legal, and other teams to drive cross-functional alignment.
A key focus will be translating market insights, product roadmaps, buyer needs, and user behavior into actionable marketing strategies.
You will also build and develop a high-performing product marketing organization while establishing scalable operating models and ways of working.
This is an opportunity to shape growth and market impact within an innovative, fast-moving, and highly collaborative healthcare environment.

Accountabilities
  • Define and lead the overall product marketing strategy, operating model, and priorities across a broad portfolio and multiple audience segments.
  • Establish clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging frameworks that guide go-to-market execution and strengthen market understanding.
  • Translate product strategy, market intelligence, buyer needs, and member behavior into compelling portfolio narratives and value propositions.
  • Develop high-impact sales and marketing enablement materials, including pitch decks, sell sheets, and other core assets that support demand generation and customer acquisition.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and business-model changes across both buyer and member journeys.
  • Partner with Product teams on roadmap inputs, packaging, pricing considerations, launch tiers, readiness criteria, and prioritization.
  • Connect product positioning to member awareness, activation, utilization, and long-term engagement, ensuring communications clearly articulate product value.
  • Collaborate with Consumer, Brand, Lifecycle, Clinical, Operations, Sales, Client Management, B2B, B2C Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Build, lead, and develop the product marketing organization, integrating talent, processes, and scalable ways of working.
  • Serve as a senior cross-functional connector and strategic advisor, driving alignment between product, commercial, and marketing priorities.
  • Establish measurement frameworks that connect product marketing activities—including positioning, enablement, launches, and adoption—to measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead effectively through organizational change and integration while maintaining a balance between strategic direction and hands-on execution.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing, including substantial leadership experience in product marketing across B2B and B2C or D2C environments.
  • Strong B2B2C or platform experience, particularly in environments where economic buyers and end users or members represent different audiences.
  • Proven track record of developing product marketing strategies, operating models, launch methodologies, and high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap, packaging, pricing inputs, and prioritization without directly owning product management.
  • Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to connect positioning, storytelling, enablement, launches, and measurement to business results.
  • Strong product, commercial, customer, and market orientation, with the ability to translate complex offerings into clear and compelling value propositions.
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, employee benefits, insurance, or another regulated and multi-stakeholder industry is preferred.
  • Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to frame complex decisions clearly for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to influence without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Experience building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams through periods of growth, transformation, or organizational integration.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on customer needs, commercial outcomes, and measurable impact.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $215,000–$225,000 annually.
  • Performance bonus eligibility in addition to base compensation.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Flexible Vacation Policy designed to support rest, relaxation, and personal time, subject to manager approval.
  • 80 hours of paid sick, safe, and caregiver leave annually for eligible full-time employees.
  • Inclusive benefits programs designed to support employees and their families.
  • Remote work opportunity open to candidates across the United States.
  • Opportunities for meaningful career development, leadership, and professional growth.
  • Collaborative and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that expand access to healthcare and improve customer and member experiences.
  • Compensation is determined based on factors including position type, location, education, experience, and certifications.
