Authorization Specialist in Beaumont, California at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital

POSITION SUMMARY:

Obtain proper authorization and prescription for patients to receive Physical Therapy.

Interacting with varied clinics and doctor's offices throughout the area to keep them informed regarding their patient's progress and requesting continuation of treatment if needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience working with insurance authorizations.
• Basic computer skills, Excel and prior experience with electronic medical record.
