Job Description
At Atlanta Autism Center (AAC), we provide 100% center-based, early diagnostic and therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder, ages 6 and under. We are a privately-held, physician-owned company with an interdisciplinary team of highly-trained professionals. We believe that learning should be fun, which is why we take a naturalistic and play-based approach to assessment and treatment. We believe every child and every family deserves compassionate and assent-based care. AAC's mission is to ensure every child receives meaningful, high-quality care, while providing clinicians with the resources and support needed to succeed.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Operational Therapist to join our team. This center-based role offers a structured yet flexible schedule, allowing you to focus on quality clinical care, mentorship, and professional growth while maintaining a work-life balance. The OT will provide high-quality, client-centered, and evidence-based occupational therapy services. This role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with families and professionals from other disciplines. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children across a variety of developmental levels and disorders, and a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of young clients and their families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services, including administering assessments, treatment planning, and intervention that are ethical and evidence-based.
Provide best practice occupational therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through assessment and intervention.
Develop and facilitate active, natural learning using evidence-based treatment methods.
Implement data-driven decision-making and quality assurance measures.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of daily living skills in pediatric clients.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and family input.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation including evaluation reports, session notes, and progress summaries.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals (BCBA, ST, PT, ) to support generalization of therapy goals.
Participate in regular team meetings, continuing education, and in-service training.
Educate and counsel families on strategies that promote independence and home programs to support continued progress.
Work-Life Balance:
- Manageable productivity expectations (choose a caseload of 25–32 direct hours).
- No weekends or evenings (operating hours Mon–Fri, 8:00–5:00, with optional 4pm end times)
- Weekly flex time available.
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverage; PTO; paid holidays; floating holiday and mental health days; bring-your-child-to-work benefit; supportive and collaborative company culture.
Strong Administrative Support: Dedicated operations, intake, and billing/authorization teams handle all non-clinical tasks—allowing SLPs to focus solely on evaluations, treatment, and family collaboration.
Continuous Learning & Growth: Paid onboarding, ongoing clinical training, free live and on-demand CEUs, $500 annual CE stipend, weekly in-person mentorship, clear career pathways (OT & leadership), and opportunities to participate in in-house research. We invest deeply in our OTs through structured mentorship, documentation guidance, and monthly advanced clinical trainings—because our priority is high-quality care, not just billing.
We Offer Equal Employment Opportunity:
