This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Specialist, IT Tech Lead Planning based in Brazil.
This is a senior technical role focused on ensuring enterprise supply chain planning and reporting applications remain reliable, compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs.
You will take ownership of critical applications, serving as a technical specialist across their design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
The role combines hands-on application expertise with requirements analysis, solution design, testing, validation, and issue resolution.
You will work closely with IT teams, business process owners, and external vendors to deliver scalable and effective solutions.

- Own and manage supply chain planning and reporting applications, ensuring they operate effectively, remain compliant, and continue to meet business requirements throughout their lifecycle.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, translating functional needs into scalable technical specifications and solutions.
- Serve as a technical lead for Kinaxis Rapid Response and other planning and reporting applications, including configuration, deployment, integration, and ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional requirements, design specifications, validation plans, test scripts, and change-control records.
- Lead system testing, user acceptance testing, validation activities, and change management for new implementations and system enhancements.
- Ensure applications remain in a validated state and support risk assessments, audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities in regulated and non-regulated environments.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, maintenance, enhancements, and defect resolution, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as required.
- Lead issue triage and root-cause analysis for production problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing operational disruption.
- Collaborate with business process owners to identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure solutions remain aligned with operational priorities.
- Act as a key liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and vendors, facilitating communication and coordinating technical activities.
- Support integrations and troubleshooting involving APIs, batch jobs, ETL processes, databases, and other enterprise technologies.
- Contribute to broader digital transformation initiatives by ensuring planning solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building worksheets, dashboards, and alerts using Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Strong knowledge of the Kinaxis platform, including data modeling concepts, table structures, linkages, and configuration.
- Experience with enterprise application support, configuration, deployment, system integrations, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SQL and data integration concepts, including APIs, batch jobs, and ETL processes.
- Basic understanding of Java and .NET, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot application logic, scripts, and database queries.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, including application deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience working in regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similar environments, with knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) and GxP requirements.
- Ability to develop and execute test scripts, UAT scenarios, validation plans, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and identify effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across IT, business teams, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in complex technical environments.
- Kinaxis Author Level 1, Administrator Level 1, or Integration Level 1 certifications are considered a plus.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies is desirable.
