This role is central to shaping and amplifying the voice of a technical product community across owned and third-party platforms. You will act as the bridge between users, developers, and internal teams, ensuring feedback flows seamlessly into product and support functions. A strong focus will be placed on managing Reddit communities, driving engagement strategies, and building meaningful interactions with advanced users. You will translate complex technical discussions into actionable insights that directly influence product direction and customer experience. - Develop and execute a comprehensive Reddit and community engagement strategy, including SEO-driven content and native posting approaches.
- Manage and grow branded community spaces by maintaining content calendars, publishing updates, and moderating discussions.
- Identify high-value engagement opportunities across third-party communities and craft targeted content to drive participation and visibility.
- Monitor community discussions daily, providing timely responses, clarifications, and support to users across platforms.
- Gather, structure, and prioritize user feedback, feature requests, and recurring issues from community interactions.
- Act as a liaison between users and internal product, support, and engineering teams to ensure effective issue resolution and product alignment.
- Moderate communities to maintain compliance with guidelines, brand safety, and overall community health.
- Produce regular reporting on engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, SEO performance, and product launch impact.
- Conduct audits of brand visibility in AI-generated responses and LLM-based citations to track awareness and positioning.
Requirements:
- Experience in community management, developer relations, technical support, or similar user-facing roles in a tech or SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of online community dynamics, particularly Reddit and other technical forums.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging content.
- Comfortable engaging with advanced users and discussing technical product architecture at a detailed level.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, GitHub, or similar platforms for tracking issues and managing workflows.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze engagement trends, sentiment, and community performance metrics.
- Strong communication and writing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand voice.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple conversations and community streams in a fast-paced environment.
