Odyssey House of Utah is looking for a Part-Time Psychiatric APRN to join our FACT Team!

- Main Position Responsibilities (Will include, but are not limited to):
- Assess and evaluate adults/adolescents experiencing symptoms of physical and behavioral health disorders.
- Prescribe medication to the client for physical health or emotional health disorders during admission.
- Assess and triage medical needs during intake.
- Perform Suboxone inductions as needed for individuals presenting with opioid withdrawal during admission.
- Collaborate with intake staff, medical clinic staff, and program staff to discuss treatment plans.
- Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained via self-report, relatives, and other professionals.
- Counsel patients during appointments as necessary.
- Design/participate in the development of individualized treatment plans using a variety of treatments.
- Complete regular, documented quality assurance activities to ensure service documentation meets standards.
- Complete required paperwork associated with licensure continued contracting, credentialing, accreditation, and various HR requirements within a reasonable timeframe.
- Attends staff meetings at the clinic and behavioral health programs as needed.
- Document all incidents immediately and report as required.
- Serves as the internal expert regarding assessing incoming patients and is readily available for consultation with clinicians/colleagues and facility staff when needed.
- Provide high-quality medical services to patients within the scope of licensure.
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Provide prompt communication within one business day to all contacts (e.g., email, phone, fax, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Criteria for Psych APRN:
- A master's degree in nursing or DNP with psychiatric emphasis from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years of psych experience
- Board certification as a PMHNP
- DEA license with full prescriptive authority
- Ability to adapt to a full schedule quickly- a minimum caseload of 60 patient hours weekly
- Comfortable seeing adolescents and adults for a variety of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan
