- Investigate automobile casualty claims involving single or multiple vehicles, analyzing liability, coverage, and damages to determine fair and accurate claim outcomes.
- Communicate with customers, claimants, vendors, and third parties through phone, email, and digital channels to provide updates and guide them through the claims process.
- Evaluate and negotiate settlements using established guidelines, balancing customer needs with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document all claim activities accurately and timely in internal systems to ensure compliance, traceability, and financial protection.
- Apply policy interpretation and investigative techniques to assess coverage validity and resolve complex claim scenarios.
- Utilize digital tools, estimate platforms, and claims systems to support efficient decision-making and case resolution.
- 2+ years of experience in claims adjusting, particularly involving liability determination, coverage evaluation, and property damage assessments.
- Strong background in claims investigation, negotiation, and resolution of casualty or automobile-related claims.
- Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone, with the ability to build rapport and explain complex information clearly.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage complex, fast-moving claim situations effectively.
- Familiarity with insurance policies, claims systems, and structured claim handling methodologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time, priorities, and documentation with accuracy.
- Licensing requirements may apply depending on jurisdiction, with willingness to obtain necessary adjuster licenses within required timelines.
