Principal Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to own the strategic growth modeling and cross-functional performance tracking of the Group, which encompasses spearheading operating plans, ensuring alignment between growth ambitions and corporate profitability, translating financial metrics into actionable insights, and proper management of high-impact strategic initiatives. The role's functional scope acts as a central integrator across commercial, operations, and finance.
You are expected to anchor the function and drive execution through the guidance of the Head of Growth and Expansion and CEO. You will report to the Head of GET / CEO, champion the rolling forecast and operational planning processes, and establish and maintain proper alignment across GMV, revenue, and PC123 targets. This person should be highly confident with data infrastructure and will use financial models to their full potential, knowing that complex data sets can be translated into concise narratives to inform executive-level decisions.
The ideal candidate understands the intricacies of ecommerce or high-growth startup commercial strategies and is exceptionally comfortable working with numbers. This person will work closely with the Head of GET / CEO and cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, and operations heads, advising them on different value creation solutions, margin optimization, and strategic expansion paths.

Job Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development of operating plans and rolling forecasts, translating overall business strategy into clear financial targets across Revenue and PC123.
- Ensure that targets, assumptions, and execution are fully aligned across commercial, marketing, and operations teams to bridge gaps between strategy and on-ground performance.
- Build and maintain robust financial and commercial models to rigorously evaluate new initiatives, brand partnerships, and various business scenarios.
- Deliver timely, accurate management reports with clear variance analysis and actionable insights across GMV, revenue, and PC123 performance.
- Monitor and maintain margin and profitability profiles at optimal levels across PC1, PC2, and PC3. Identify margin leakages and propose optimization and revenue mix enhancement strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional business partners to drive operational accountability and ensure growth ambitions do not compromise corporate profitability.
- Manage and execute high-impact strategic projects, including corporate partnerships, new revenue streams, and expansion initiatives from initial evaluation through execution.
- Perform data-driven insights and evaluations to support strategic resource allocation, financial modeling, and risk management decisions.
- Provide timely review, feedback, escalation, and recommendations to the executive team by translating complex financial data into concise narratives.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or a highly quantitative business field.
- 5–7 years of combined experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), commercial strategy, corporate development, or business analysis.
- Experience in ecommerce or high-growth startups is highly standard for this level of strategic responsibility.
- Proficient in advanced financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets) and the ability to quickly adapt to business intelligence software and data tools.
- Proactive and high-ownership attitude, with a knack for structured thinking and solving complex, ambiguous problems.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
