Pay Rate: $25.00 up to $32.65 without Medical Insurance!

LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the worlds leading provider of end-toend airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Prepares food in accordance with established procedures and specifications

Understands and complies with HACCP procedures which includes proper temp controls and completing the necessary paperwork

Mass produces basic foods including but not limited to steaming, poaching, braising and pan frying.

Prepares food based on a pre-determined production level

Inventories supply and requisitions the proper amount of supplies on a pre-determined production level

JOB SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS:

4-5 years' experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work with requisitions and verbal instructions

Completes paperwork as required Must be able to work hours required for the position

Must be able to lift 30lbs. Must be able to work in refrigerated and hot areas

Eligible candidates must:

Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States

Pass a background check and clear a drug screen

Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift

Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary

Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!

Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English Possess basic math skills

MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after14 days

Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed

Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English

Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 12 hours a day
