Performance Quality Technician

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Performance Quality Technician in Germany.

In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of AI-driven agricultural technology by maintaining and auditing high-resolution datasets that train computer vision algorithms. You will work closely with field operations, data teams, and customers to identify issues, validate solutions, and ensure products perform safely and effectively in real-world farming conditions. This position offers a mix of hands-on data analysis, field testing, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will contribute directly to improving automation in agriculture while collaborating with cross-functional teams and interacting with end users. The role requires initiative, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel to ensure top-quality performance.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and product reliability, supporting AI model performance, and coordinating field validation efforts.

  • Audit and correct labeled image datasets, providing feedback to annotation teams
  • Investigate data irregularities and support the resolution of issues with AI models
  • Translate field tests, customer feedback, and model issues into actionable insights
  • Document findings, validate solutions, and maintain high-quality reporting standards
  • Coordinate and conduct field experiments, including traveling to farms for critical testing
  • Prioritize tasks for the Deep Learning team based on impact to customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with support teams and field personnel to resolve high-priority performance issues
Requirements:

Candidates should have a combination of agricultural knowledge, technical skills, and problem-solving ability.

  • Education or professional experience in Agronomy, Farming, or related fields
  • Experience with data annotation and quality assurance
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills with the ability to make safe decisions
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Strategic thinking and high attention to detail in analyzing datasets and performance metrics
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Google Suite and Confluence preferred
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% for field experiments and issue resolution
