Valbin Corporation is a leading language service provider to the government and private sector and is dedicated to delivering superior linguistic, analytical and cultural services to the diplomatic, defense, intelligence and business sectors. Valbin is currently hiring Medical Role Player/Civilians on the Battlefield equivalent employees in support of a rotation held at Camp Beauregard, LA in June 2026.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Role Player/Civilian on Battlefield (COB) is an entry level position taking place in June 2026. The candidate will perform role playing work at a professional level for a U.S. Army field training exercise in order to facilitate realistic training in preparation for real-world events and scenarios the unit will likely encounter during contingency operations similar to a Guard I. COBs will be used to enhance training realism for participating units.

The candidate will perform role playing work at a professional level for a U.S. Army field training exercise in order to facilitate realistic training in preparation for real-world events and scenarios the unit will likely encounter during contingency operations similar to a Guard I. COBs will be used to enhance training realism for participating units.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act in multiple roles as an injured U.S Military service member or Enemy Prisoner of War while being treated by Military medics or first responders
- Maintain in character throughout the duration of the assigned scenario(s)
- Follow any provided scripts to enhance the realism in scenarios and instructions for specific “wound behaviors” (eg. Shock, respiratory distress or combat stress) while being extracted from cramped vehicle interiors
- Work in austere conditions and ride in military vehicles with required safety equipment (eg. Helmets, safety glasses)
- Provide support for 12-hour duration (Day or Night) at various times with 24-hour notice
- Required to remain on site for the duration of the exercise
- U.S. Citizen
- 18 Years or Older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Eligible to work in the US and possess a Real ID compliant drivers license or ID
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving 25 pounds of equipment and physically capable of carrying or dragging other simulated patients (within safety guidelines) to simulate “buddy-tows” or casualty evacuations
