This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Associate Technical Consultant – ServiceNow in Canada.
This role is designed for a hands-on ServiceNow professional who thrives at the intersection of technical implementation, client engagement, and digital transformation. You will contribute to building and enhancing enterprise ServiceNow solutions that support IT service management and operational efficiency at scale. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and deliver robust platform configurations. The environment is highly collaborative and project-driven, offering exposure to complex implementations and multiple ServiceNow modules. You will participate in workshops, demos, and Agile ceremonies while helping shape scalable, high-quality solutions. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their consulting expertise while working on impactful enterprise technology initiatives.
You will be responsible for delivering ServiceNow solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring high-quality implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement across IT service processes.
- Translate client requirements into clear user stories, technical tasks, and implementation plans for development teams
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications including ITSM, Service Portal, and ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, HAM)
- Support integration development using REST, SOAP, and MID Server technologies
- Build and enhance workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and other platform components
- Conduct client workshops, demos, and requirement-gathering sessions to align solutions with business needs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily collaboration
- Support ongoing CMDB health, Discovery processes, and platform optimization activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality solution delivery
- Provide guidance and support to junior developers when required and contribute to team knowledge sharing
This role requires strong ServiceNow expertise, consulting ability, and the capacity to communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform in development or implementation roles
- Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, CMDB), Service Portal, and hardware asset management (HAM)
- Solid understanding of scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts)
- Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server configurations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to simplify technical concepts
- Experience working in Agile environments with active participation in sprint delivery cycles
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or CIS) are preferred
- Exposure to additional modules such as HRSD or GRC is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in team-based delivery environments
