Description:

Balanced Body is hiring for an Manufacturing Assistant Supervisor. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will support the direction and leadership of the department. You will work closely with the Supervisor, crew leaders and Director on daily, weekly and monthly goals and ensure the department is meeting expectations. You will ensure the team has all the necessary training, tools and resources to accomplish their assigned tasks.

The Assistant Supervisor will be responsible to observe, correct, coach & discipline. The Assistant Supervisor will be involved in strategic planning for not only the growth of the department but the transactions across departments.

An ideal Assistant Supervisor will have the following attributes: strategic planning, leadership, ability to multi-task, promote a positive attitude, ability to coach and mentor others. Strong communication skills, active listening, time management and a passion for building quality Pilate’s equipment.

Requirements:

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for line planning daily, weekly and long-term;
  • Responsible for the production quality of the department and inspection of incoming/outgoing product;
  • Able to maintain equipment in good operational order by following operating instructions and established procedures, trouble-shooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies and performing preventive maintenance;
  • Keep supplies ready by checking stock, anticipating needs and placing/expediting orders;
  • Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following our standards and policies, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing is preferred;
  • Minimum of 2 years providing leadership;
  • CNC experience is preferred either on vinyl, wood or metal products;
  • Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds;
  • Experience with production scheduling, planning and/or inventory is highly preferred;
  • Experience with receiving and sending parts is preferred;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize changing tasks with a sense of urgency necessary to meet objectives and deadlines.

Schedule

Day Shift schedule Monday to Friday, 5AM to 1:30PM.
