Associate Director, Tagging & Content Measurement Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Director, Tagging & Content Measurement Lead based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, marketing technology, and enterprise data architecture, responsible for building the foundational tagging and taxonomy systems that power omnichannel measurement at scale. You will define how content, campaigns, and metadata are structured, validated, and connected across global platforms in a highly regulated environment. The role has significant impact on the accuracy and reliability of enterprise analytics, enabling end-to-end visibility from content creation to performance insights. Acting as a technical authority, you will ensure consistency across tagging standards, UTM frameworks, and metadata governance models. You will partner with cross-functional teams spanning content systems, data engineering, analytics, and commercial operations. This is a highly strategic role combining hands-on platform expertise with enterprise-level governance and innovation. It is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, data-driven, and globally scaled environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and govern enterprise-wide tagging, taxonomy, and metadata standards across content and campaign ecosystems, ensuring alignment with compliance and measurement requirements.
  • Lead implementation of tagging frameworks across platforms such as Veeva Vault PromoMats, Veeva Vault Medical, and Claravine, including UTM structures, campaign tracking, and validation rules.
  • Design and optimize system-driven workflows for campaign setup, creative identification, and automated tagging validation.
  • Enable integration of content metadata with downstream analytics platforms such as data warehouses and Google Analytics 4 to support attribution and performance measurement.
  • Establish governance models for taxonomy lifecycle management, ensuring data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with IT, analytics, commercial, and medical teams to translate business needs into scalable tagging and measurement solutions.
  • Drive operational adoption through documentation, training, and enablement of internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in marketing technology, content operations, data/analytics enablement, or enterprise platform management, ideally within biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
  • Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise tagging, taxonomy, or measurement frameworks in regulated, global environments.
  • Strong expertise in metadata governance, data quality management, and omnichannel campaign measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with Claravine and Veeva Vault ecosystems, including integration with analytics and reporting tools.
  • Deep understanding of UTM structures, campaign tracking, attribution models, and digital measurement frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DAM systems, data pipelines, and enterprise analytics ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in matrixed, cross-functional organizations.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary range: $143,700 – $193,700 annually (based on experience and location)
  • Annual bonus eligibility and potential incentive compensation depending on role type
  • Equity opportunities through discretionary stock awards and employee stock purchase plan
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Retirement savings plan (401k) with additional financial planning support options
  • Flexible paid time off and wellness-oriented benefits
  • Hybrid/remote flexibility depending on team and business needs
  • Professional development opportunities in a global, innovation-driven environment.
