This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in protecting the integrity, trust, and safety of a large-scale digital marketplace. As a senior individual contributor, you will lead complex investigations, resolve high-impact escalations, and leverage data-driven insights to detect and prevent fraudulent activity. Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and business teams, you will help shape enforcement strategies, improve platform safeguards, and influence policy development. The role combines analytical problem-solving, operational decision-making, and strategic impact in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining a secure and trustworthy user experience. Ideal candidates are curious investigators, strong communicators, and data-savvy professionals who thrive on solving complex challenges.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and resolve complex Trust & Safety escalations, making well-documented, data-driven enforcement decisions on sensitive and high-impact cases.
  • Conduct in-depth fraud investigations to identify abuse patterns, including fake accounts, coordinated manipulation, fraudulent submissions, and other integrity risks.
  • Utilize SQL and business intelligence tools to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, assess risk exposure, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor fraud detection rules and enforcement mechanisms, ensuring effective risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and monitoring frameworks to provide visibility into platform health, emerging threats, and integrity metrics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to communicate findings, improve platform protections, and drive scalable solutions.
  • Identify policy gaps and process improvement opportunities, proposing evidence-based updates to strengthen enforcement consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives focused on workflow optimization, moderation standards, and trust and safety program enhancements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, content moderation, risk operations, or a related field with exposure to scaled enforcement systems.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex escalations and investigations, delivering defensible and well-documented outcomes.
  • Strong SQL proficiency with experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform analytical findings into operational actions, including rule creation, enforcement strategies, and process improvements.
  • Understanding of automated moderation systems, AI-powered enforcement tools, machine learning models, and their practical applications in production environments.
  • Experience assessing trade-offs, interpreting policy requirements, and making balanced decisions in complex situations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact trust and safety initiatives that directly influence platform integrity and user confidence.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, fraud detection methodologies, and AI-assisted enforcement technologies.
  • Collaborative environment with close partnerships across Product, Engineering, and business functions.
  • Significant ownership and autonomy in decision-making and investigative work.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a rapidly evolving and data-driven organization.
  • Inclusive and supportive workplace culture that values diversity, innovation, and continuous learning.
