Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Pocatello, ID
About the Role
Happy To Help Caregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate individuals to join our caregiving team serving clients throughout Pocatello, Chubbuck, and surrounding communities.
As a caregiver, you will play an important and meaningful role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported in their own homes. You'll provide essential non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans—helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in the place they know best: home.
This is hands-on, relationship-driven work for someone who wants to show up consistently, build real connections with clients and families, and make a positive impact every day. Our caregivers are trusted members of the care team who bring compassion, professionalism, patience, and respect to every shift.
What You'll Do
• Provide companionship, conversation, activities, and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Prepare meals and snacks and provide feeding support if needed
• Perform light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, changing linens, and tidying living areas
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan (no handling or administering medications)
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and approved outings
• Provide respite care support for family caregivers
• Follow care plans and document services provided
• Communicate changes in client needs or concerns to the office
• Support each client's independence, routines, preferences, and overall well-being
Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred:
• Idaho CNA certification
• Previous caregiving or home care experience
• Experience working with seniors, veterans, or individuals with disabilities
No prior caregiving experience is required. We value character, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

• Location: Pocatello, Chubbuck, and surrounding communities
• Schedule: Flexible shifts available — full-time, part-time, evenings, and weekends
• Type: In-home, non-medical caregiving
