Job Description
Position SummaryCustodial Services Technician - This is a part-time position that performs a variety of custodial and janitorial duties to maintain City buildings and facilities in a clean, safe, sanitary, and presentable condition for employees, visitors, and members of the public.

Class Characteristics
This is a part-time, entry-level classification responsible for performing routine and scheduled custodial services at City buildings and facilities. Incumbents are expected to work independently, follow established cleaning procedures and safety practices, and complete assigned work with limited supervision. Assignments may vary depending on the needs of the City and may include cleaning offices, public areas, public restrooms, meeting spaces, and other City facilities.

Education, Experience, Qualifications
Equivalent to the completion of twelfth (12th) grade. Prior custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or building maintenance experience is desirable but not required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Class C California Driver’s License by date of appointment.
