Position SummaryThe Caregiver-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care and assistance to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is essential in helping residents achieve and maintain their highest level of independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being while ensuring care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, company standards, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
Our caregivers play a vital role in creating a positive and nurturing environment where residents feel valued, respected, and supported.
What You'll Do- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Promote resident independence and encourage participation in daily activities.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and safety at all times.
- Follow individualized care plans, physician orders, and facility policies.
- Support a warm, welcoming, and caring community environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) months of experience performing basic nursing assistant duties preferred.
- Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Current CNA certification in good standing.
- Completion of all required in-services and continuing education requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to Department of Labor regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
