Job Description
The DevOps Engineer will leverage the latest industry DevOps tools and containerization processes to provide and maintain a DevOps and development environment to support production efforts and pilot programs within the organization’s secure and low-side environments, on-premises equipment, and AWS cloud services.
*This role requires an active TS/SCI FSP to start*
Requirements:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable DevOps pipelines and environments.
- Utilize industry-leading DevOps tools and containerization technologies to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Manage and support on-premises equipment, secure low-side environments, and cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for efficiency and security.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and management tasks to improve operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices across all environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, including EC2, S3, and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of networking, security protocols, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
