This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head – Growth, Marketing & Alternate Data based in India.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping how a leading data and analytics organization builds its market presence, expands its ecosystem of alternate data partnerships, and enables commercial growth through data-driven solutions. You will operate at the intersection of brand strategy, business development, and data partnerships, with accountability for both external positioning and revenue-enabling initiatives. The role requires building a strong narrative around alternate data in credit decisioning while also driving hands-on execution across marketing, partnerships, and solution consulting. You will engage directly with senior stakeholders, data partners, and internal business teams to accelerate adoption of next-generation credit intelligence solutions. This is a highly strategic yet execution-heavy role in a fast-evolving financial data ecosystem. Your work will directly influence financial inclusion by enabling better credit access for underserved populations.
- Lead the overall brand, marketing, and market presence strategy, ensuring strong positioning in the alternate data and credit intelligence ecosystem.
- Own and manage corporate digital assets, thought leadership content, and partner-facing communications to strengthen market visibility.
- Plan and execute industry events, conferences, roundtables, and strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand reach and engagement.
- Develop and deliver content including white papers, case studies, articles, and executive communications on alternate data use cases.
- Coordinate with global and enterprise marketing teams to align messaging, localize campaigns, and maintain brand consistency.
- Drive end-to-end engagement with alternate data partners, including fintechs, digital platforms, utilities, and gig economy companies.
- Lead consultative partner onboarding, including value articulation, commercial structuring, and data monetization frameworks.
- Manage legal, compliance, and technical coordination for data integration and regulatory alignment (including RBI guidelines).
- Maintain and optimize a live partner ecosystem pipeline, tracking data availability, contracts, and activation readiness.
- Collaborate with internal teams on client-facing solutioning, proposals, and commercial engagements involving alternate data.
- 12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, marketing leadership, or growth roles within fintech, financial services, or data-driven organizations.
- Strong experience in building and managing external partner ecosystems with commercial ownership and deal structuring responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of India’s financial services ecosystem, including fintechs, Account Aggregator frameworks, and alternate data sources.
- Proven experience managing marketing functions such as events, digital platforms, content strategy, and vendor management.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring cross-functional collaboration and rapid execution.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to connect data capabilities to business outcomes.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or related field required.
