Sr. Director, Marketing Finance

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional eager to shape strategic decision-making across a fast-growing direct-to-consumer and e-commerce business. The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Marketing, and Commercial Operations, driving insights that influence investment strategies, revenue growth, and channel performance. As a key advisor to executive leadership, you will lead forecasting, financial planning, and business analysis initiatives while building and developing a high-performing team. This position offers significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to influence long-term business strategy. Ideal candidates bring deep expertise in financial modeling, e-commerce economics, and cross-functional collaboration. Accountabilities:
  • Own and continuously enhance revenue and marketing forecasting models across key e-commerce and digital sales channels, ensuring accurate and actionable financial planning.
  • Lead annual planning cycles, forecasting processes, and financial reviews, delivering consolidated business insights to executive stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with marketing and commercial leaders to evaluate investments, prioritize growth initiatives, and optimize channel performance.
  • Drive strategic finance projects including scenario analysis, long-range planning, investment evaluations, and business performance assessments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by translating complex financial data into clear recommendations that support strategic decisions.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team focused on analytical excellence, business partnership, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and optimize advanced financial planning tools, automation capabilities, and AI-driven workflows to improve efficiency and decision quality.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Data, and Business teams to maintain data integrity and ensure consistent reporting across the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or related analytical leadership roles.
  • 3–5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Direct experience supporting direct-to-consumer (DTC) and/or e-commerce business models.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree required; backgrounds in investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy are highly valued.
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise with experience building integrated forecasts, scenario plans, investment analyses, and long-range financial strategies.
  • Strong executive presence and exceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to C-suite leaders and board-level audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Commercial teams.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and automation technologies to enhance financial analysis and business decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Strong analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving business environments.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce marketplace ecosystems and digital marketing performance metrics is considered a strong advantage.
