Job Description
LHDC has an opening for a full-time Resource Coordinator, working 35 hours per week. This position is based in Tell City, Indiana. This will assist in implementing various programs or projects within the department. Programs or projects may include, but are not limited to, the Resource Coordination Program, Employment Resource Coordination, Energy Assistance Program (EAP), Housing Counseling, Covering Kids and Families (CKF), and/or other programs under the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program.
Resource Coordinators work with clients providing one-on-one case management. This position will also develop and maintain professional relationships with community partners to provide customer access to community resources. This may include but is not limited to assisting with coordination of outreach and enrollment activities in the community and assisting to promote LHDC programs throughout the LHDC service area.
A graduate of an accredited college or university with at least an Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or a correlated field is preferred. However, a High School Diploma with two (2) or more years of experience in a professional office environment or social services provision may be considered. In addition, comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
On a regular basis, LHDC staff work a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday.
