Job Description
Summary
|
Drives the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Coach to and from designated worksites in a safe and timely manner. In collaboration with leaders, maintains coach safety checks, travel, fuel, and maintenance records required by DOT and Parkview regulations. Assures coach maintenance is completed and up to date. Under the direction of the PPG leader, supports the clerical functions for the coach in accordance with the physician office practice to ensure quality care. Conducts professional patient interactions by obtaining demographic and financial information. Greets and processes patients in an efficient, friendly, accurate and timely manner. Is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior. |

Education

High School graduate or GED equivalent. |
|
|
Licensure/Certification
|
Must have current Indiana Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes, and a valid DOT Driver’s Certificate, within 30 days of hire. Parkview will reimburse cost of licensure upon completion and passing of all tests. |
Experience
Previous work-related experience and two years’ clerical experience, physician office experience preferred. Must have experience working with computers. Experience driving buses or large vehicle preferred. Medical terminology and/or coding experience preferred. Patient registration experience helpful.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must have knowledge with preventive maintenance and scheduling for vehicles. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. |
