Job Description

City National Bank and Trust

Position: IT Technician

Department: IT

Status: Full Time

Description: End-user support of IT hardware and software, including but not limited to workstations and workstation peripherals, servers, telecommunications hardware, surveillance equipment, printers, mobile devices, and audio-video equipment.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide timely technical support (remote and in-person) while maintaining organization standards for customer service and professionalism
  • Prioritize, document, and resolve support requests, enabling end-users to accomplish business tasks
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues on IT equipment and contact external vendors to coordinate support as required
  • Configure and deploy new IT hardware
  • Install and upgrade software, including operating systems and applications
  • Assist in maintaining strict information security controls
  • Other job duties as required

    • Qualifications:

  • IT-related professional certifications a plus
  • Must be able to work heights using a portable ladder
  • Occasional travel required
  • Occasional on-call and holiday work required

    • Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent education in an IT-related discipline
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Constant use of computer screens
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

  • Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
