As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide technical leadership in designing, implementing, and improving cloud and infrastructure platforms. You will collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to build secure, automated, and scalable solutions that support business objectives.
- Explore client requirements and translate business goals into technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and infrastructure solutions.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud platforms, infrastructure automation frameworks, and reliable hosting environments.
- Lead Azure-based infrastructure initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code practices, and automation processes across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Drive DevOps adoption by promoting agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and collaborative engineering practices.
- Provide expertise in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure engineering, and modern application hosting environments.
- Partner with engineering leaders and technical teams to define solutions, resolve challenges, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Implement monitoring, observability, security controls, and operational processes to improve system reliability.
- Guide teams in adopting best practices around automation, cloud governance, security, and infrastructure management.
- Contribute to the evolution of cloud and infrastructure capabilities through innovation, knowledge sharing, and technical mentorship.
The ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure professional with strong expertise in Azure, DevOps, automation, and cloud-native technologies. You should combine technical depth with strong communication skills and the ability to advise stakeholders on complex technology decisions.
- 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role with strong Azure expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and modern cloud automation practices.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application delivery.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise or web-scale hosting platforms, application servers, databases, and runtime environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering principles.
- Experience applying DevOps methodologies, Agile practices, and Infrastructure as Code approaches in real-world environments.
- Ability to work with multiple technology environments, including virtual servers, containers, serverless platforms, and databases.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and experience managing Linux systems, Windows systems, or container environments.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, tracing, performance analysis, and reliability engineering practices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including infrastructure vulnerabilities, secrets management, network security, and software supply chain protection.
- Familiarity with AI technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agents is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and provide strategic technical guidance.
