Job Description
Work Location -- May be assigned to any of the County's MTU locations -- Oceano, SLO, Atascadero, Paso Robles. Must be able to work at any MTU location as a temporary or permanent work location.
This position will organize, conduct and supervise physical therapy treatments and programs at one or more California Children's Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Units (MTU). This position provides physical therapy treatment to children with qualifying physical disabilities and will be involved in directing and assisting patients in various exercises and activities for muscle reeducation, gait, transfer and prosthetic training, and instructing patients and care providers in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes and prosthetic devices.

This recruitment may be used to fill future permanent, substitute, limited term, and temporary positions, both full-time and part-time throughout the County.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with physical disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Physical Therapist I: Possession of a valid California license as a Registered Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist II: Possession of a valid California license as a Registered Physical Therapist; AND: Three years of post-licensure therapy experience (a Master's Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy may be substituted for one year of the required experience.)
