As a Press Helper, you will be on the front lines of producing high-quality labels for our customers. Our Press Helpers are critical in preparing print jobs and keeping our presses running. This is an excellent position to start a successful career in print!

Job Summary:

Pulls all dies for jobs as orders are scheduled into the computer system. Dies are checked to make sure they are in good shape for a press run. If die need to be retooled, fill out paperwork and take to the shipping. Dies are taken to the appropriate press when jobs are scheduled. Dies are mounted into press and removed from press when jobs are completed. All dies are to be re-filed at the completion of the job.

Essential functions:

• Ability to lift dies that frequently weigh 50 pounds, occasionally up to 90 pounds.
• Pull all dies for each job ordered and inspect for damage.
• Mount die on to die block and place in press.
• Perform routine operations related to Press Helper when Die Mounting complete.
• Keep die inventory in good order.
• Request repair for damaged dies.
• Perform routine material handling duties, including but not limited to, hand trucks.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Demonstrated good safety record.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle physical workload on average 50lbs, maximum weight 90lbs
