ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
Position Summary
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting the Property Manager in overseeing and coordinating all property management, maintenance and administrative tasks, and controlling the day-to-day operations and activities for the respective properties. Conducts unit inspections. The Assistant Property Manager also performs other related work, as required.
Assists Property Manager with many administrative and support duties, including:
Speaking with residents and reporting their concerns;
Taking rent payments;
Processing service requests;
Disseminating flyers and other communications;
Maintaining inventory records;
Inspecting units and grounds at the property or properties assigned; and more.
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in Business, Public Administration, or Social Sciences from an accredited college or university, two (2) years of progressively responsible experience as a Management Aide, or at least three years working in an administrative capacity at a housing development, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
