Summary

The Guest Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience in the main lobby. This role greets and assists guests, assesses patient needs, and directs individuals to patient registration or the appropriate department for services.

The Guest Services Representative also responds to inquiries from patients and visitors, and the public using professional telephone etiquette and exceptional customer service.

Education

• High school diploma or the equivalent with GED.

Licensure/Certification

• Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse. To view addendums, go to the job description page on Parkview’s intranet.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and application.

Other Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
