Job Summary
A Machine Operator is responsible for keeping the food manufacturing process running efficiently and safely. They will also assist in the preparation, cooking, packaging, and quality control of food products. This role ensures that production standards, safety guidelines, and hygiene practices are strictly followed to deliver high-quality food items efficientlyKey Responsibilities
Monitor production lines to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance with quality standardsPossess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production linePerform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issuesOperate food production machinery and equipment in compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations. Also maintain quality and production standards while operating equipmentComplete production documentation and maintain accurate recordsPrepare ingredients according to recipes and production guidelinesMonitor the quality and consistency of food productsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area including tools and equipmentFollow all safety and health regulations, including proper food handling and storageChecking instruments for example temperature gauges and metal detectors, at customary intervals Pack and label finished products accuratelyAssist in inventory management by tracking supplies and ingredientsCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency (including minimization of food waste) Work with the team to resolve any equipment malfunctions, people or food safety hazards immediatelyWorks with the team to make sure the production line has a regular supply of raw materials or components Transports food supplies to and from internal site locations as required Perform function of other positions within area of responsibility for the purpose of providing overall coverage food production operationsOccupational Health and Safety

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical training a plus.Minimum 1 years’ experience in food production industry in processingAbility to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environmentEnglish language (verbal/listening/written/reading)Numeracy skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply) Able to problem solve, service oriented and able to multi taskStrong understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry.Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP) is helpfulStrong attention to detail and teamwork skillsTraining ProvidedPhysical Job Requirements
