AVEVA Engineering Solutions Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AVEVA Engineering Solutions Specialist based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering technology, enterprise IT, and operational technology integration.
You will help customers implement, configure, integrate, and optimize advanced engineering platforms across complex industrial environments.
The position focuses on AVEVA Unified Engineering, E3D, AVEVA Global, and related engineering solutions, ensuring reliable data flows and effective system governance.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, digital transformation, and customer teams to solve challenging technical problems.
Your expertise will help automate workflows, improve user experiences, and enable customers to extract greater value from their engineering environments.
The role is hands-on and collaborative, with opportunities to influence technical solutions and continuously improve engineering processes.
Based primarily in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, you will work in a hybrid model with customer-facing responsibilities and require strong English communication skills.

Accountabilities
  • Implement, configure, support, and optimize engineering solutions, including Unified Engineering, E3D, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Global, and complementary modules.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between engineering platforms and enterprise IT environments using REST APIs, SQL databases, data pipelines, cloud technologies, and other system-to-system communication methods.
  • Create and enhance PML scripts and automation solutions to customize engineering workflows, improve productivity, and optimize the user experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, IT/OT, and digital transformation teams to diagnose complex technical issues involving data, configurations, integrations, and system architecture.
  • Apply best practices for system governance, configuration management, data integrity, security, and enterprise engineering environments.
  • Support customers through technical challenges and contribute to successful adoption of engineering solutions.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge transfer across customer and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate repetitive activities, optimize engineering workflows, and increase measurable customer value.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and proactively recommend technical or process enhancements.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through clear communication, technical expertise, and reliable delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of practical experience working with AVEVA solutions, particularly Unified Engineering, E3D, AVEVA Engineering, and/or AVEVA Global.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of PML (Personal Macro Language) for customization, scripting, and engineering workflow automation.
  • Solid experience with IT and enterprise integrations, including REST APIs, SQL, data structures, data pipelines, and system-to-system communication.
  • Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, networking concepts, permissions, and related technologies.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving engineering data, system configuration, integrations, and architecture.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Spanish language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to complex technical challenges.
  • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business and operational value.
  • Curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset, with enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and identifying innovative solutions.

  • Willingness to successfully complete a comprehensive background check in accordance with applicable local laws and employment requirements.
  • Ability to provide appropriate documentation confirming work authorization and other information required for the applicable screening process.
