Apartment Maintenance Technician in Louisville, Kentucky at Monarch Investment and Management Group

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville, KY. We offer $20.00$25.00 per hour, quarterly maintenance bonuses of up to $750, full benefits, tool reimbursement, paid time off, and ongoing training and advancement opportunities.

• Competitive pay: $20.00$25.00 per hour

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Perform apartment make-ready/turn work between residents
• Perform interior and exterior painting and staining
• Complete general carpentry, drywall, and exterior maintenance as needed
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and water heaters
• Maintain the property's buildings, grounds, and common areas as needed
• Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation approximately every 34 weeks
• Provide professional, courteous service to residents and respond to maintenance requests promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• 2+ years of experience in general property maintenance preferred
• Experience with drywall, painting, and basic carpentry
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and water heaters
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
