Job Description

About Calvary Chapel Eagle

Calvary Chapel Eagle is located in Idaho’s beautiful Treasure Valley, just outside Boise. Since relaunching in October 2023 under the leadership of Pastor Brenen Beeler, we’ve seen over 200 first-time commitments to Christ, 140+ baptisms, and launched more than 30 small groups. Our church is growing rapidly, and we’re passionate about seeing revival in our community and helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

About the job

Calvary Chapel Eagle is seeking a passionate and organized Missions & Outreach Coordinator to lead the way in bringing the hope of Jesus to our city and beyond. This role exists to help people encounter and respond to Christ through gospel-centered outreach, strategic events, and global missions—while keeping our congregation deeply connected to the work God is doing through our missionaries and ministry partners.

This position is ideal for someone who loves people, thrives on execution, and has a heart to see both our local community and the global church impacted by the Gospel. You'll lead everything from evangelistic outreach and missions trips to church-wide events and our Sunday CStore & Café—recruiting and empowering teams of volunteers along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Evangelistic Outreach
Plan, promote, and execute local outreach initiatives that clearly proclaim the gospel and create real opportunities for people to hear about and respond to Jesus. Move beyond simply demonstrating the love of Christ to intentional evangelism—equipping our people to share their faith and connecting unbelievers and the unchurched to Jesus and to CCE. Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to carry this mission with you.
  2. Coordinate Church & Outreach Events
Organize church-wide events that foster community, celebrate spiritual milestones, and serve as natural invitation points for guests. Ensure every event reflects the mission and culture of Calvary Chapel Eagle and moves people one step closer to Jesus, building and leading the volunteer teams that make each event excellent.
  3. Champion Global & Local Missions
Serve as the primary point of contact for CCE's overseas missionaries and local ministry partners—stewarding those relationships with care and consistency. Keep the congregation connected to, praying for, and participating in the work our missionaries and partners are doing. Coordinate short-term mission trips and Holy Land tours that help our people take part in God's work around the world, providing logistical support, training, and follow-up.
  4. Steward the Missions & Outreach Budget
Manage the missions and outreach budget with integrity and transparency, ensuring resources are allocated wisely, tracked accurately, and aligned with the church's vision and priorities. Partner with the Executive Pastor to plan spending and report on impact.
  5. Run the Sunday CStore & Café
Oversee the CStore and Café on Sunday mornings, creating a warm, welcoming environment for guests and volunteers. Proceeds from the CStore directly support CCE's missions and outreach work, so this environment is both a place of connection and a tangible extension of the mission. Recruit, schedule, and lead the volunteer teams that keep it running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • A growing personal relationship with Jesus and alignment with the vision of Calvary Chapel Eagle and the Calvary Distinctives
  • A heart for evangelism, with personal experience sharing the gospel and helping others do the same
  • Proven experience planning and executing events, trips, or outreach efforts
  • Ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams
  • Experience managing budgets responsibly and stewarding resources with integrity
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and hospitality skills
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide range of people—from local vendors and ministry partners to international missionaries and guest speakers
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with tools like Planning Center, Google Suite, and basic budgeting tools (or willing to learn)
