Consultant Relations Director - South Central

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultant Relations Director - South Central based in the United States.

This is a strategic commercial leadership role focused on building and expanding influential relationships with benefits consultants across the South Central region.
You will own the partnership strategy for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, turning relationships into meaningful business opportunities.
The role combines territory planning, executive relationship development, solution presentations, and high-value industry engagement.
You’ll introduce a comprehensive technology-enabled healthcare solution to commercial partners and help generate substantial top-of-funnel pipeline.
Working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams, you’ll help move opportunities from initial engagement through successful closure.
The position offers significant visibility across a fast-moving healthcare and technology environment, with opportunities to shape market growth and commercial strategy.
It is well suited to an entrepreneurial, highly organized relationship builder who is passionate about improving healthcare through technology.

Accountabilities
  • Own regional strategy: Develop and execute a strategic consultant partnership plan for the South Central territory, including territory priorities, business plans, and a structured consultant partner playbook.
  • Build strategic relationships: Establish, nurture, and expand 1:1 relationships with key benefits consultants and influential firms across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
  • Drive market engagement: Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and other strategic forums to strengthen relationships, increase visibility, and identify new opportunities.
  • Present the solution: Introduce comprehensive cancer care solutions to commercial partners in the benefits market, delivering polished presentations and product demonstrations tailored to partner needs.
  • Generate pipeline: Create significant top-of-funnel opportunities by identifying prospective partners, developing relationships, and converting consultant engagement into qualified commercial opportunities.
  • Support sales execution: Partner closely with Sales to develop and mature opportunities, contribute to deal strategy, and help move prospects toward successful closure.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally: Work with Sales, Health Plan Partnerships, Commercial Partnerships, Client Success, Clinical, Product, and other teams to deliver a seamless experience for commercial partners.
  • Develop market intelligence: Gather insights from consultant relationships and the broader benefits market to inform commercial priorities, messaging, partnership strategies, and growth opportunities.
  • Build internal influence: Serve as a knowledgeable and credible resource for commercial colleagues while contributing to a culture of learning, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Industry relationships: Established, credible relationships with benefits consultants and consulting firms throughout the South Central United States.
  • Relevant experience: Demonstrated experience developing complex commercial partnerships and/or working within the B2B healthcare market.
  • Business development: Proven ability to cultivate senior-level relationships, generate qualified opportunities, and contribute to complex sales cycles.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable creating and executing plans independently while remaining adaptable as priorities, markets, and business needs evolve.
  • Organization: Exceptional project management, prioritization, and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple relationships, projects, and competing priorities.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence needed to present sophisticated healthcare solutions to professional audiences.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across Sales, Partnerships, Client Success, Clinical, Product, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership: Genuine interest in developing as an influential commercial leader and serving as a mentor and resource to colleagues.
  • Industry passion: Strong interest in the intersection of healthcare and technology, with enthusiasm for solutions designed to improve patient outcomes and close care gaps.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–50% for client meetings, conferences, events, and other business activities.
