Supervisor Laboratory-Core Lab in Centerville, Ohio at Kettering Health

The Supervisor Laboratory oversees daily operations of the clinical laboratory to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable testing that supports patient care and safety. This role is responsible for supervising laboratory staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and implementing quality assurance measures to optimize laboratory performance and operational reliability. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, biology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by CLIA regulations. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the ASCP Board of Certification or equivalent. Compliance with all federal CLIA requirements.

Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline. Additional certifications in specialized areas of laboratory science.
