Job Description

Sell stone. Serve people. Have fun.

Hard work doesn’t have to feel hard. Seriously. When you work at Select Stone, you get to spend your time with talented people, work for inspiring clients and surround yourself with the most beautiful natural stone around. Sure, the pay and learning experiences are great, but trust us when we say the people here are fun. If you’re tired of the same old and are looking for an opportunity you’ll absolutely love — give us a shout.

In your role as Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the strategic marketing plan and driving brand visibility, customer engagement and business growth across digital and traditional channels. Working closely with the General Manager and Sales Team, you will play a key role in building and optimizing our marketing infrastructure — including marketing automation, lead nurture systems, content strategy, photography and a full digital presence.

This role requires strong content development skills, campaign management expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our marketing initiatives align with the company’s overall objectives.

Practically speaking, here’s what you’ll do on a day-to-day basis…

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Build, own and execute the annual marketing plan across digital, content and traditional channels
  • Develop campaign briefs, seasonal priorities and channel strategies in collaboration with the General Manager and Sales Team
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective allocation across initiatives
  • Track performance against KPIs and prepare regular reporting for management

Email Marketing & Automation

  • Plan and execute a regular email marketing program including seasonal newsletters, product announcements and promotional campaigns to customers and trade contacts
  • Build and optimize segmented email nurture sequences by product line and buyer type (builders, landscapers, architects, retail), including contact scoring logic.
  • Develop and refine lead scoring logic (Cold/Warm/Hot) and ensure qualified leads are passed to Sales with appropriate context

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Create high-quality content including copy, photography and video for all social platforms
  • Engage with online audiences to grow brand presence and drive customer interaction
  • Use photography and videography from jobsites and completed projects to support visual storytelling
  • Build and grow the company’s marketing photo library through ongoing outreach, photo purchases and internal documentation of completed projects
  • Create print and digital marketing materials including brochures, flyers and promotional items

Digital Marketing & SEO

  • Maintain and update website content using Statamic CMS
  • Update and optimize product pages with accurate specifications, photography and copy to reflect current inventory and product lines
  • Plan, build and manage paid ad campaigns across Google Ads and Meta — including audience targeting, creative development, budget management and ongoing optimization to drive qualified leads
  • Optimize website content for search engine performance and track web metrics through GA4

Events & Trade Shows

  • Coordinate all aspects of trade show and event participation including logistics, booth materials, pre/post-event promotion and lead follow-up
  • Build, set up and tear down booths at events, including assembling displays, arranging stone samples and ensuring the space is show-ready
  • Coordinate ongoing project and product photography at jobsites, events and off-site locations as needed
