Primary Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and other building systems, including cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements.Conduct routine inspections of building systems, including air-conditioning units, furnaces, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, doors, windows, locks, and smoke detectors.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and leadership, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.Monitor and maintain specialized systems, including generators/UPS, electrical panels, refrigeration, café equipment, and building envelope systems.Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, and applicable facility standards).Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of engineering spaces, mechanical rooms, and facility grounds.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and emergency response.


What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities engineering, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as EPA, OSHA, HVAC, CFC, FMP, IFMA, or BOC are highly preferred.Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and vendors.

    Work Environment

    Work is performed within a multifamily, faith-based community environment focused on safety, respect, and service.Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities to address emergencies and operational needs.
    Compensation & Benefits

    $20-$25 USD Hourly Rate
