Accountabilities

In this role, you will act as a key People Partner for the India hub, supporting leaders and employees across engagement, development, and retention initiatives. You will guide performance conversations, coaching, and career development while strengthening employee experience through targeted engagement strategies and culture-building programs. A significant part of your responsibility will involve ensuring HR policies, compensation practices, and compliance align with local labor laws and organizational standards.

  • Partner with managers and employees to drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness
  • Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace issue management aligned with company values
  • Oversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and compliance support
  • Ensure alignment with local labor laws, compensation frameworks, and benefits administration
  • Contribute to change management, organizational design, and global HR program rollouts
  • Coordinate office operations, vendor management, and employee experience initiatives where applicable
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings solid experience in HR generalist or People Partner roles, ideally within a fast-paced, global or SaaS environment. You should have strong working knowledge of India labor laws, payroll processes, and statutory compliance, along with hands-on exposure to employee relations and performance management. A people-first mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance business needs with employee experience are essential for success in this role.

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR Generalist or People Partner roles
  • Strong understanding of India labor laws, payroll, taxation, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, and engagement strategies
  • Ability to advise managers and employees on feedback, development, and workplace issues
  • Strong organizational skills with experience handling HR operations and office coordination
  • Comfortable working in remote-first or globally distributed teams
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
