Walnut Street Center, Inc. is nonprofit Human Services agency providing supports to Adults with Developmental & Intellectual Disabilities. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Residential Services to join as the fourth member of our growing team.

Summary:

The Assistant Director of Residential Services will oversee all aspects of multiple Residential Services Programs. This person will ensure Individuals receive quality support services to aid them in achieving their full potential, while keeping with the Agency’s mission and philosophy.

Essential Duties:

Ensures that the department staff is meeting the health and safety needs of all individuals.Ensures timely submissions of financial documents and reporting for assigned programs.Ensures that the department is achieving goals set by Licensing, the Department of Developmental Services, department goals and objectives and by the Agency’s mission statement and strategic plan.Serves as a liaison between the Department of Developmental Services, family members, guardians and other stakeholders.Works collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Director of Residential Services to ensure the health and well-being of all individuals.Oversees the implementation of Personnel Policies for the department.Monitors the timely and accurate response to all required reporting authorities.Provides supervision to Residential Program Managers and other staff as assigned.Provides on-call emergency through the use of a pager or cell phone.Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a Human Services / IDD Supervisory roleMinimum 2 years' Experience in multi-site managementFamiliarity with Department of Developmental Services regulations and Survey and Certification requirements or other and accreditation procedures preferred.Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels within the organization.Highly accountable for the results and outcomes of their responsibilities and understands the impact of their efforts, results, and attitudes on others.Bachelor’s degree preferred.What Walnut Street Center Offers:
