Craft is Hiring
Hi, I’m Claire Gatti, Vice President, and I’m leading recruitment for a new Account Director role here at Craft. I joined Craft earlier this year, and I’m incredibly passionate about this team - it’s a group of incredible humans on the team doing business-changing, award-winning work for our clients.
Lisa Pasquin founded Craft a decade ago with the goal of creating an inspiring environment where people do great things together. Today, we’re proud to work with some of the country’s best brands, including Keurig Dr Pepper, Moosehead Breweries, Hershey, Nintendo of Canada and Tim Hortons - to name a few. We do award-winning work, but we also have a lot of fun doing it - our vibrant work environment is truly one of the best things about Craft. Just last month, Craft was named Best Agency to Work for in North America at the PRovoke Sabre Awards in New York!
At Craft, the Account Director position falls between the Senior Account Manager and Vice President. The role expects that you’ll manage accounts, including providing strategic oversight and leading hands-on execution, under the guidance of a member of the Senior Leadership Team
Leading the development of campaign ideas, taking ownership of ideation and plan development, including developing effective and impactful plans
Providing strong, hands-on oversight over the execution of those ideas, ensuring that every touchpoint supports the identified strategy
Keeping tabs on the details - time and money! - through the management of workback schedules, status reports and budget trackers.
Serving as a role model to teams and the broader agency, and motivating teams to deliver great work - even in the face of roadblocks and challenges
Providing sharp and insightful client counsel and building deep and trusted client relationships
Note: this role will likely require serving as a people manager to one to two team members, providing leadership, support and coaching.
What You Bring To The RoleYou have experience in public relations / communications; agency experience is a plus.
You have high standards, and you’re always looking for ways to raise the bar.
You’re deeply curious - about your job, and about the world around you.
You act with empathy, eager to support your team as both people and as colleagues.
You’re a passionate collaborator, on the lookout for ways to work together with your clients and your colleagues to bring amazing things to life.
Applications are due by noon on June 15. In a cover letter, please let us know what excites you about the idea of joining the Craft team.
